Hydraulic Control Panel

Control Panel overview

The hydraulics control panel is composed of 7 modules (input, switching, logic, and solid state relay), a distribution panel, and a panic button. These modules control the pump and the flow of hydraulic oil to the servo-valve to operate the actuator.

Notes

  • The hydraulic control panel gets its AC power from the transformer located on the pump in the machine room.
  • There is also a +5V supply on the rack which provides power to the logic modules;
  • There is an AC fuse at the back of the control panel that occasionally burns out. The logic continues to work but solenoids and motor controls do not.
