EMG-Electrodes

EMG's (Electromyograms) are recordings of the wave of electrical depolarization that propagate along the muscle membrane initiating skeletal muscle contraction. Self-adhesive disposable surface electrodes are applied at specific locations to measure EMGS corresponding to ankle plantarflexion and dorsiflexion. These electrodes are non-invasive and enable the measurement of an EMG signal that represents a significant portion of the muscle.
