PCI-GPIB Board

The GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus) board is a link/interface system, through which interconnected electronic devices can communicate. This popular communication design is accepted as the industry standard IEEE-488 (not to be confused with the locally developed ieee488 functions).

The external devices are connected to Spindle via a National Instruments PCI-GPIB board. This board is connected in series with each of the peripheral devices.
