Hardware

This section gives a general overview of the key hardware components that are used to acquire experimental data. The signal flow diagram below illustrates how the components are connected.

 

 

Software

This section outlines the general software pieces and structure used in data acquisition and experimental control. Spindle acts simultaneously as the external device controller and data recording machine within the Matlab environment. REKLAB has developed custom Matlab scripts to interface the GPIB bus devices for data collection and device control. The illustration below describes how the software components are functionally structured.
